News24.com title Google Glass for Android is all-new and all-skull, as it has always been – a review article Android Police article Android users are in for a treat with the arrival of Google Glass, as the all-seeing wearable will soon be making its way to the Android world, as Google Glass will be a major part of the Android ecosystem.
The Google Glass software platform will make its way onto Google’s platform starting this month, according to the company’s release, and it will be available as an Android app, but the hardware itself will be an entirely different beast altogether.
That means that users will be able to take their Glass experience to a whole new level, allowing them to interact with it via the familiar “home screen” interface.
You will still be able navigate your way around the home screen using a standard Android-like interface, but you will be more likely to be able tap and drag around content and shortcuts, as well as perform other functions that are already available to the platform’s built-in hardware.
Google Glass also boasts a camera that can snap photos and video, as can the Google Assistant, which will be featured on the platform.
You can also access your camera via a microphone that will function as a way to take voice dictations.
There’s no word yet on when the Google Glass platform will launch, but it’s certainly a nice update on the already existing device.
Google has said that Glass will launch on November 13 for $349, with an unlocked version available to those who preorder it.
